Tips for All Pages:  
   
Please enter the date in the format of: dd/mm/yyyy  
When entering an amount into the currency fields you only need to enter the number as the field is
already formatted for currency.  For example, you only need to enter 2.52  
I have put in an example on each page.  The VAT amount will be taken right from any invoices
that you issue or are issued.  If you are not VAT registered, you will not need to enter a VAT amount
on the sales sheet.  
   
For the Sales sheet:  
   
Under the details heading, enter what was sold, to whom it was sold, how many,  
and any other information you feel is necessary.  Also use this column for entering other types of 
income: interest income, etc.  
Under Invoice Number please enter the invoice number that relates to that sale  
If there is any postage/delivery charge - please enter it under the Carriage heading  
You will see a drop down list for Paid Into column - this is so you can state where the monies from 
the sale were paid into.  
If the amount has been paid in full, select Yes.  If the amount has not, please select no and state
 how much is still owing and when it was paid in full.  
Use the empty colums to provide more information if you feel it is necessary.  
   
For the Purchases Sheet:  
   
Please note that this form is not for Stock purchases.  
Under the details heading, enter what was purchased (i.e. postage, office supplies, etc), where it was
purchased from, and any other information you feel is necessary.  
Under the Receipt Number please enter a receipt/invoice number if there is one that relates to the
purchase.  
Under the Expense Acct heading, please choose an expense from the drop down.  If it is not in the
drop down, please select Other.. And enter the expense name in the next column.  
If there is any postage/delivery charge - please enter it under the Carriage Heading  
You will see a drop down list for Paid By column - this is so you can state how the purchase was
paid for.  It helps me set up the accounts properly.  
If the amount has been paid in full, select Yes.  If the amount has not, please select no and state
how much is still owing and when it was paid in full.  
Use the empty columns to provide more information if you feel it is necessary.  
   
For the Stock Sheet:  
   
Use the Details section to provide any information you feel will assist me in completing the accounts
(i.e. Product Name etc).  
Under the Purchased From heading, please enter who the stock was purchased from.  
Please provide an Invoice Number if there is one.  
Please enter the quantity of the product that has been purchased.  This will help when doing your
stock intake.  
Please enter the unit price for the product that has been purchased.  
Use the Details section to provide any information you feel will assist me in completing the accounts.

Paypal Information:  
   
In order to make sure that the paypal account is up to date, I will require your paypal history to be
provided.  
To do this log into your paypal account and click on History.  You can download all transactions and
specify a date range if necessary.  
It will ask the type of file to download it to, please select a Comma Delimited file and save it to your
desktop.  
If you have transactions that are not done in GBP, please also provide me the transaction details by
copying and pasting them into a word document for each transaction in a foreign currency.  This will
provide me with the necessary information in order to make sure the amounts are converted
correctly.  
When you e-mail me this spreadsheet, please also e-mail me the paypal information.  
   
Nochex Information:  
   
You can download the transaction history in the same way that you download the Paypal history.
   
Mileage Sheet:  
   
Use this sheet to keep track of the mileage that you have travelled during the financial year.
Remember that Inland Revenue changes the amount that can be claimed for mileage every year.
   
Information Sheet:  
   
Please do not change anything on this sheet as it relates to the drop down boxes.
